Our Tourism Cultural Packages

Half day cultural experience: 8am -12 pm

Pick up from the hotel/ arriving at Kaya Kinondo sacred forest
Brief information at the Kaya Kinondo Visitors information center on the heritage site and what to
expect during the excursion
Guided forest walk (presentation on forest flora & Fauna, local cultural and sacred activities around
the forest)
Experience a traditional healing process by a local medicine man including a cultural show in the
central clearing of the sacred forest
Stop over for a refreshment as you exit the sacred forest
Proceed to a local traditional village for a guided village tour (experience the local life style and
experience traditional ways of livelihoods). Including a visit to a local primary school for an experience
of the Kenyan education system while interacting with kids and teachers.
Depart back to the hotel arriving in good time for lunch. Asante sana for coming with us.

Sacred Forest Experience only: Any time between 8 am – 4pm

Kaya Kinondo Cultural Open day Every Sunday 8.00 – 4.00 pm

Depart from the hotel after breakfast and arrive at Kaya Kinondo sacred forest.
Brief information on the local heritage and local people of Kaya Kinondo
Experience local cultural presentation on traditional dances, sacred ceremonies, oral narratives and
plays.
Guided forest tours for an experience of the forest fauna & flora and cultural sites
Proceed to a local traditional village for an experience of local life style and community livelihoods
options
Traditional refreshments and food will run all day.
Depart back to your hotel at your own convenience.
